An interesting model for writing in public is Martin Locock’s 10 simple steps to better archaeological management (http://10simplesteps.blogspot.com/)
Martin proposed a paper for the IFA conference next month, had it accepted, decided to develop his paper through the medium of blogging, produced a smart little site and then hard-copy published it as a book with lulu.com … and he hasn’t even given the paper yet.
So good luck with the dissertation. And one day I will turn my ideas into something too.
